"Pebbles 2"
 
   When the original Pebbles snuffed it four years ago I bought another. This time from Marudoh and she has recently measured in at 85cms and weighs over 30lbs in weight. She is five years old has perfect reticulation, no marks at all and a beautiful body shape. I believe she is better than Pebbles and she was superb. She is still growing and I fully expect her to top 90cms next year. Fingers crossed.

   I've had this fish just under 3 years and she was 59cms.

Here's the Momotaro Sanke Lee refers to - currently 77cms

and a few more first is a pond shot of the entire Pebbles 2, the 2nd a Sakuma Showa at 74cms and finally some of the rest of the gang

Folks look again at the last pic in Jonathans last post above... those fish look like a normal pond collection... they ain't!!!

They are monsters, get a handle on the scale, just get a tape and look at 85 cms, then look at the chag.. and.. see what I mean?

I've said for many years now that Jonathan achieves, consistently, phenominal growth rates and, big AND, not at the expense of quality.

Dunno how he does it but fair play to him!

   When I posted this last year someone did say "well it is only a Chag" as if all Chags can be expected to grow this big and retain quality. Now the Momotaro Sanke pictured above at 77cms has just been measured at 80cms. I will set my Aquosis vat up at the weekend and get some more piccies posted. I'm quite pleased to say the least.

   That is what I want to get back to Jules. When the opportunity presents itself and if I can relieve myself of one or two more of the big girls then I'll have the room as well. Not easy finding suitable ponds for these fish or the people to part with the money which is really only a fraction of the cost these would be in various dealerships. Not properly advertised yet though.
